Banyan Treatment Center - Baldwinville Massachusetts
This is a newer program. Focus is on addiction recovery. Initial detox is in general population. Once the patient is cleared from medical they are moved to a first responder only unit. They do have a gourmet chef on staff. We have personally visited this facility. They process through insurance.

Nassau county Crisis HotLine
The Mobile Crisis team consists of licensed professional social workers and nurses who are specially trained to help individuals, and their families, with mental health problems.If you or a family member is experiencing a mental health crisis call the Team. Social workers and nurses travel to homes, schools, work-sites and other locations in Nassau County.The Team responds in the same day and provides supportive crisis intervention for children and adults who are experiencing an emotional disturbance, interpersonal crisis or psychiatric emergency.

Zucker Hillside Adult Behavioral Health Crisis Center
The Crisis Center provides walk-in evaluation and treatment to assist patients in their recovery from a wide range of psychiatric conditions and emotional issues. Services include crisis psychotherapy, evidence-based screening assessments, diagnostic evaluations, short-term treatment, medication management and referral, and linkage to follow-up care. Most major insurances are accepted.

The facility is strictly First responder only and takes insurance. Please contact them to make sure they work with the number of insurances you may have. Agencies come from across the world to attend this facility. We have personally visited this facility. Workers all have a background with first responders.

Bridge Back To Life
New York State OASAS- Licensed, to operate chemical dependency treatment programs. Treats addiction as the primary illness, but also deals with collateral problems most substance abusers present with upon admission to our programs (i.e. emotional, financial, familial, legal, spiritual, etc). Their objective is to help you make positive changes in your lifestyle and assist you in achieving a productive and fulfilled life, free of drugs and alcohol.
Veteran Programs
Nassau County Veterans Service Agency East Meadow
Serves veterans as an advocate for compensation, pension, education and training, vocational rehabilitation, and additional benefits for survivors, burial, and hospital care. The agency provides free transportation for veterans to either the Veterans Administration (VA) Hospital in Northport or the VA health clinic in East Meadow.
